Digbeth project- further references

With an animation covering several hundred years of Digbeth's history, you might think that we would need a time machine to get video references. Of course, we shall have to rely on images and drawings for the earlier stuff, but there are indeed some interesting videos out there showing what Digbeth was like during the more recent history of the 50s, 60s and 70s.

The Media Archive for Central England (MACE) has collected a wealth of information relating to the subject. Whilst not all of it can be viewed online, since the conversion process from film reel to digital is expensive, there is still a fair amount of video footage (my personal favourite is the escaped bull running around in 1963).
